“It has been a long and difficult time for us, but the journey has just begun. Through sheer hardwork, determination and an unwavering dedication to customer service, I am proud to see that Choon today is one of Singapore’s premier demolition solutions provider. We have ridden the economic downturn, SARS and uncertainties due to terrorism well because we have a sound team of workers backed by my team of good, competent managers.

The general perception today is that the construction industry is not glam, dead or backward. We at Choon aim to change all that. Testimony to this is our attitude of trying, innovating and embracing technology to help us do things better and faster. The introduction of the Brokk machines and how they can revolutionise the demolition industry in last year’s BAUCON exhibition is just the beginning of things to come. Also, we plan to regionalize in the near future. The opportunities for Choon to export and translate our expertise overseas are vast. In the pipeline, Malaysia seems a very attractive proposition and plans are already in place to set up a regional office there soon.
