We are currently in the progress of the following projects :-
Upgrading of the Terminal 2 Building at Singapore Changi Airport
This is reputed to be one of the largest and complex upgrading projects,
valued as S$200 M to be carried out under a ¡®LIVE¡¯ environment in Asia.
In May 2003, Choon was awarded a 30-month multi-million dollar contract to
carry out the controlled demolition works. This project involves removing
a large area of the main building for installation of the skylight to
allow more light into the building as well as removing all the tiles and
ceilings for upgrading.
Upgrading of the HSBC bank at the HSBC Building
This project involves the creation of openings at the first storey and
second storey of the HSBC building for the installation of escalators.
The work includes removal of the existing bank vaults and the reinforced
concrete wall during. As always, all work will be done under ¡®LIVE¡¯ environment.
Upgrading of the Singapore History Museum at Stamford Road
This project involves the removal of existing fixtures, M & E installations
and parts of the building to upgrade the Singapore History Museum. The
complexity of the work stems from the fact that the building is more than
100 years old, and that demolition work has to be carried out in a controlled
manner so as not to affect the structural integrity of the existing building.
